Research conducted under the WIRA program covers a wide range of topic areas, and focuses on issues identified as most important by the community. Research projects address the physical environment of downtown neighbourhoods, as well as the social needs of the people who live there. The objective is to fund local research that will improve policy and program development impacting Winnipeg's inner city.

The following projects have been approved for funding under the WIRA program. A number of them have full text download of their final research reports.
